Fall 2023 Start up information
The office closes at noon on June 29th and reopens at 8:30am August 29th. An email with start-up information will be sent out the week of the 29th. The first day of school for Grade 9s and new students is September 5, with all students attending September 6. The school day begins promptly at 8:37 and ends at 3:15 Monday – Thursday. Friday dismissal is at 2pm.

If your student is not returning to SCHS for the fall please let the main office know at springcm@rockyview.ab.ca so that we may have accurate numbers for the fall and so that we may transfer your student’s records to the new school.
New to RVS students will receive specific start-up information the week of the 29th, including a timetable, locker request form, student Power School login information, etc.
Springbank High School is a one-to-one environment, meaning most classwork is done via computer. Macbooks, PCs, and Chromebooks all work well for daily classwork. IPads are not recommended with our systems. We do have laptops available for daily or long-term checkout.
Lockers have been cleaned out and sanitized by our custodians. Items left in lockers can be picked up at the lost and found table in the Foyer. Items not picked up by noon Thursday the 29th will be donated.
Report Cards will be in PowerSchool June 29th. Report cards are not mailed to families, but instead can be printed out from the parent portal in PowerSchool. Instructions were included last week's Phoenix Flyer and are also found at this link: View/Print Report Cards

Textbooks can be dropped off until 11am Thursday June 29th in the front foyer. After that, books cannot be returned until the office reopens August 29th . Students with overdue books will be unable to sign out new textbooks/novel studies until the overdues are returned.
